Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data collected through the essetiketambalaj.com website is processed, in line with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of the Obligation to Inform. This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.

Personal data we process

When you fill in the quote form, we process:

• Identity: your full name
• Contact details: your email address and phone number
• Request details: your company name, container type, size, material, quantity and delivery preference, your message and any artwork files you upload
• Security data: the IP address from which you submit the form

If you contact us by phone, email or WhatsApp, we also process the information you share in that conversation.

Purposes of processing

We process your personal data to:

• review your quote request, prepare a quote and send it to you,
• contact you about your request,
• enter into a contract if your request leads to one,
• prevent misuse of the form and keep the website secure.

Collection method and legal grounds

Your personal data is collected electronically through the quote form on our website.

Data relating to your quote request is processed because it is directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Article 5(2)(c)). Your IP address is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (KVKK Article 5(2)(f)). It is used only for short-term submission limits and is not stored by us. To prevent automated abuse of the form, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When you open the quote page, technical information about your browser and connection is processed by Cloudflare on the basis of the same legitimate interest. Turnstile does not access what you type into the form fields.

Transfers of personal data

Limited to the purposes above, and in line with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, your personal data may be transferred to the following service providers:

• Our hosting provider: hosting the website, processing form submissions and protecting the form against automated submissions
• Our email service provider: providing the business email account that receives form submissions
• Our email delivery provider: delivering form submissions by email

As these providers' servers are located outside Türkiye, these transfers are transfers abroad.

Our contact page uses Google Maps to show our location. When you open that page, the map is loaded from Google's servers, Google may process your IP address and may use cookies. This is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

If you use the WhatsApp link, the conversation takes place through WhatsApp, provided by Meta Platforms, and is governed by its privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website does not use cookies. The Google Maps embed on the contact page may use Google cookies, as described above.

Retention

Your personal data is kept for as long as the purpose for which it is processed requires, and for the periods set out in applicable law. After that, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to:

• learn whether your personal data is processed,
• request information about the processing if it is,
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
• request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
• request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 of the KVKK,
• request that corrections, deletions or destructions are notified to the third parties your data was transferred to,
• object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis of your data,
• claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing of your data.

How to apply

You can send requests regarding your rights in writing to our address above, or by email to satis@essetiketambalaj.com from the email address you previously shared with us. Requests are handled free of charge as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days, depending on their nature.
